We were able to spend a few hours downstairs in the sewing room. I was glad I had committed to the sew-in because on my own I think I would have probably spent my evening watching Dr. Who.
Instead, Coleen and I had fun picking out an outfit for Coleen to sew for her brand new cousin Adelaide from Ottobre. Here Coleen is starting to trace out the patterns.
And I flat-felled the side seams and hemmed the two shirts I am making for William. Now I just need to hem the sleeves, add buttons and buttonholes and oh, yeah attach the collar - I've been avoiding that. I need to be wide awake for that step! You might think I'm ahead of the game since I'm making two short sleeve shirts in February, but I have a confession to make- they've been at this stage since last August! Ah, yes...procrastination.
